Alpha sigma phi uc davis2/27/2024 ![]() Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. Both CoRec teams will be able to earn all associated points. In this case, both teams need to be included in the team name (ex: Alpha Phi & Delta Chi). Teams may also earn points by participating in CoRec leagues should a fraternity and sorority combine. Multiple teams within a sport must be designated by a number after chapter name (Ex: Sigma Chi 1, Sigma Chi 2, etc). In order to qualify, the team name must match the Chapter name and be used consistently throughout the academic year. *Teams that compete in the Recreational league will only earn half of the points as compared to competing in the Premier or Competitive leagues (ex: participation points will start at 50, standings points will start at 150, finalists points will be 500 and 250) ChaptersĪn unlimited number of teams may participate in the Greek Cup per recognized UC Davis Sorority and Fraternity Life Chapter listed below. The teams that make it to the championship game will be awarded points. If multiple teams have the same league record and rating score, all teams involved will get the highest place points. The rating score will break all ties for teams with identical records. The team’s league record will determine the league standings. If a team places in the top 10 of their league by the end of the regular season/pool play, the following points will be awarded: Default: If a team notifies the Rec Sports Office 24 business hours in advance of the game that they will not be available for the game, the contest will not be considered a forfeit but will be a default.A team that forfeits a game shall be penalized 50 points for each game forfeited (default will not incur penalty). ![]() Teams that play all games (both regular season/pool play and playoff games) to completion will earn 100 points.Each chapter team will be awarded basic participation points.**Denotes Mini-League (3 week season plus 1-2 week playoff) Point Breakdowns Basic Participation Points These meetings are important so you understand all of our policies as well as the rules related to the sport. Team captains are responsible for any team fines that are assessed throughout the quarter. It is mandatory for captains to look over the rules presentation and complete the Captain's Quiz. Standings include points for Basic Participation, Place Points, finalists points and any Bonus Points. If a sport you want to register for is full please use the waitlist function. RegistrationĪll teams must register their teams during the online registration period. All teams must meet league requirements to qualify for playoffs. All teams will have four regular-season games scheduled. All individuals are responsible for the payment of their Rec Sports ONE Pass. Participation in the Rec Sports Greek Cup competition is open to current UC Davis students who are active members of a recognized UC Davis Sorority & Fraternity Life Chapter.
